A few days ago I went to a farm and picked my own strawberries...oh, I liked it! You can't get any fresher than that! So I went a little overboard and picked 13 lbs! I ate and ate and ate fresh strawberries but I realized I still had too many and they were going to spoil if I didn't do something with them. Sooooo I hulled the strawberries, I "helped" them with lots of sugar, some lemon juice,lemon zest, raspberry liquor, blackberry liquor, Grand Marnier liquor and cognac! I got them drunk! LOL This way I could preserve them for a longer time until I decided what I would do with them. Not long after they got "drowned" in all that liquor and sugar they developed such a flavourful juice!!
